"My Kid Passed Gold, Now What?"
After your student has completed the gold level they will be competent in all four competitive swimming strokes: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly. We now considered them a "Big Fish" in a little pond and are ready to pursue swimming as a competitive sport if they choose.
When you and your child talk about what's next, here are a few options for you to consider:
Swim Team Preparation - 60-Minute Class

Competitive swimming can be very fun and rewarding, but can also be intimidating for students who recently finished swim lessons. Our mission is to help your child(ren) feel confident enough in their abilities so they may want to join a swim team one day.
Our Swim Team Preparation classes are 60-minutes long and are designed to help swimmers develop more confidence in their abilities by learning common swimming drills in a fun, non-stressful environment.
These classes are ONLY for swimmers who can swim multiple laps without getting fatigued, and have a good understanding of Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly. Swimmers who find this class too difficult may benefit from enrolling in the "Big Fish" level as a way to practice technique and build endurance.
Please Note: Swim coaches will NOT be in the water with the students and the ratio of students to coaches is 10:1. This class is for advanced swimmers only.

Big Fish "Bonus" Level - 30-Minute Class
When a swimmer passes the gold level at Happy Fish they may understand all the techniques to swim well, but may lack the repetition that is needed to build those strokes into their muscle memory. We have a bonus level at Happy Fish called the "Big Fish" level.
Swimmers in this level continue practicing their strokes through repetition while also learning a few new tricks that can help them with their starts, turns, and general movement around the water.
Swimmers are not encouraged to spend a long time in this level and would benefit more from enrolling in our Swim Team Preparation classes (see below).
